SMA SUMMER CAMP 2011

Who can apply to this Course?

The requirement to enter this course is that the applicant is either a registered University Student at the time of application or an alumni/graduate of any higher learning institutions. Students active in associations and organizations are strongly encouraged to apply for this course.

Students applying should also have at least a grade “Pass” (G) in English B from the Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium). Students studying outside of Sweden should be able to show similar results. IELTS, TOEFL, CAE or CPE certificates are also applicable.

How do I apply to this Course?

For applicants in Sweden:

1. Fill in the SMA Summer Camp Application Form at the end of this page.

2. Pay the application fee of SEK200 (SEK100 for SMA’s member) to either one of the SMA accounts:

• PlusGiro: 51 33 13-7

• BankGiro: 412-0507

Note: Please state your name and the code SC2011 in the message field.

3. Send us a copy of the following documents (no later than 20th April 2011):

• The latest student transcripts
• Student transcripts from “Gymnasium” (can be printed from studera.nu) or any of other English certificate (TOEFL/IELTS/CAE/CPE).
• 2 copies of passport (picture page).
• 2 passport sized photos in color.

2. Pay the application fee of USD30 to SMA account below:

Note: Please state your name and the code SC2011 in the message field of your transaction.

3. Send us a copy of the following documents (no later than 20th April 2011):

• The latest student transcripts
• Certificate/transcript of English proficiency (except for those who live in English speaking country).
• 2 copies of passport (picture page).
• 2 passport sized photos in color.

InshaAllah your application form will be processed upon arrival of all requested documents and once we confirmed the application fee is received.

The important dates for the SMA Summer Camp 2011:

30th March 2011 – The 3rd round application is opened (the application processing fee is SEK 200 for non members (USD 30 for other European/International students outside Sweden), and SEK 100 for members : Non Refundable)

20th April 2011 – The 3rd round application is closed and the last day the support documents should received by SMA.

25th April 2011 – The results of admission of students from the 3rd round application.

29th April 2011 -  The final day to pay 50% of the total course fee for the 3rd round applicants.

08th May 2011 – The 1st meeting: a one day introductory course on the Summer Camp 2011 (only for those who are in Sweden).

27th May 2011 – The final day to pay the rest of the course fee for the 3rd round applicants.

19th June 2011 – Depart to Malaysia, inshaAllah.

Note: For Swedish students: the Course Fee for the SMA Summer Camp 2011 will be fixed at SEK 15 000 (inclusive flight ticket and tuition fees). Meanwhile for International students outside Sweden, the Course Fee for the SMA Summer Camp 2011 will be fixed at USD900 (flight ticket is not included, so you have to arrange for your own flight ticket).
